Bruce Foreman is not what you'd call a commercially driven photographer. His talent lies more in gritty reality than glitz and glamour. Every day he posts a new image and wise words on his blog titled "Poetic Universe". Each entry is but a moment to reflect on, but a worthy moment.

I like the idea of a daily challenge. Flickr proved the perfect vehicle for the 365 days project - sharing a self-portrait every single day of the year and looking for ways to make each different and expressive. If you've ever tried you'd know it's harder than it looks.
A friend of mine emails to her list a photo of the sunrise every morning, as seen from her special piece of the Australian coastline. I'm particularly impressed with her commitment as I have a particular reluctance to be awake for sunrise let alone do it every day.
The "Poetic Universe" according to Bruce is elegantly simple. He pairs images from his collections of travel in Tibet and Mongolia with words of wisdom. Not a novel a day, just a morsel to embrace with the moment.
Good thing Bruce has a lot of images to share from this part of the world.
