As a stock shooter with nearly half of my sales coming from the China trip w/Ewen, I am still delighted by my experience there ! Shooting for stock that's used for advertising is quite close to what Ewen does, and I only wish there were more guys like him to cover the rest of the globe. ie. Croatia, my next trip. Stock editors are super picky, and shooting raw with good lenses is a must. Best wishes to one of the best !!

Hi Ewen, I find your philosophies and advice most worthwhile. Recently, I attended a long boat race on the Jao Praya River in Bangkok. It was a photographer's nightmare - a hot day, large crowds jockeying for position, sun in the wrong place and so on. I was really thinking about giving up and going home but I took my time (your advice) and wandered around for a couple of hours. At the end of the day I ended up with some great shots; even getting one great shot is worth it! I love your website and it now resides in my favorites for further reference.
